11.1 Supported File Formats
| Format | Extension | Purpose |

| Abiao Label Template | .iba | Primary file format. Contains all components, data bindings, print settings, etc. Used with Open and Save. |
| Abiao Template Package | .ibap | Packaged template for sharing. Export and give to others to import. |
| Image | .png .jpg .bmp .gif | Export label as image for Word documents, web pages, etc. |
| PDF Document | .pdf | Export as PDF for archiving or client approval. |
| SVG Vector | .svg | Export as vector graphic β scales infinitely without quality loss, ideal for print production. |
| ZPL Commands | .zpl | Export as plain text ZPL commands, send directly to Zebra printers. |
11.2 Import
You can import the following into the software:
- .iba files: Open previously saved label templates
- .ibap files: Import template packages from others
- Image files: Import as background/underlay for the current label
- Excel / CSV files: Import data for binding (see Chapter 6)
- QIF files: Import financial data
11.3 Export
Export designed labels in multiple formats:
- Export as Image: Choose resolution (DPI, higher = sharper), save as PNG or JPG
- Export as PDF: Multi-page export (one page per data record when data bound)
- Export as SVG: Vector format, infinitely scalable
- Export as ZPL: Plain text, send directly to ZPL printers
- Export as Template Package: .ibap format for sharing
